I am sure if anyone has the same problem would have contacted to us already but we never have any issues about that. You were the only one who had the problem but don't worry, we'll do the best we can to have you with your situation.

My T1-R 63mm exhaust had a similar failure within 10K miles, last Summer.

I bought my exhaust from Speedstar and they did their level best to get it sorted out asap, although at one point I was told that the manufacturer would only ship the replacement part to the UK if I shipped the broken part to the Canada (which would have cost a fair bit). All sorted in the end.

My Spugen just broke....the resonator is loose on the piping so I need to have it rewelded.

Looks like poor quality workmanship to me. A "racing" exhaust should hold up to street use as long as you didn't damage it by bottoming out. Any company that takes pride in their product should warranty the repair.

I've talked to other Atlanta owners that have had exhaust issues, one was a Spugen, and they had no problems with getting the manufacturer to warranty the repair.

Sorry to hear about that, but at least AJR said they will help you out with the repairs. It sucks that it happened, but re-welding it won't be the end of the world.

Is re-welding a reasonable solution? I thought re-welding distressed metal was pointless in that the new weld won't hold for long.
