It blows my mind when people post things like this. If you have to ask how much money this swap is going to cost, you probably can't afford it. If you can, there are many other things you would be able to do to the car for the same price. This engine will cost at least as much as a 2JZ swap. For $15,000, you can get a Lovefab turbo kit, gears, coilovers, and Work Meisters with some stickies on them. Just doesn't seem worth it. The F20c has far more potential than most people realize. I have a friend responsible for 5 600hp S2000s. Also, he has a CRX for drag racing powered by an F20c with over 1000whp. Yes, you heard me, 1000whp out of an F20c. Why drop an LS1 or 2JZ when the motor you have (with only 10k miles on it) is capable of power like that.

Probably 10-15K depending on how much you're able to fab yourself.
Yea and that is not including the engine/tranny LOL.

The cheapest LS7 I have seen was something like 13,XXX.

Do it. Just take to to a shop and let them worry about the details. All you have to do is hand them a credit card. No work on your part, easy as pie.

Forget all these haters, just do it! You would be SURE to get into a magazine then!

If you don't know what you are doing, I would suggest not doing it. If you want to pay someone that does know what they are doing, go for it.

Why do people pick this car to do something like that? You can definitley make a show worthy car for the price that one of those swaps would cost. Turbo/SC, hardtop, etc...
