Why is it that the last couple threads I have read about motor swaps have been started by people who are guests on this site for less than a month???

Just curious.

Assuming it can be done and I'll assume it can, Your problems will begin at the end of your installation. The car will never have any type of reliability that would allow you to drive it on extended trips and will dollar you to death taking car of suspension parts, transmissions and clutches ,rear ends etc.
If you are determined and can afford it, take to a well known and well respected hot rod shop since they have dealt and deal with problems continously of this kind.
As expensive as this may sound (and it will be) it may actually be the cheapest in the long run.
You need to think twice before going ahead with this project. The car when finished will have little or no value above stock and may actually be worth less.
Someone above mentioned that using a less valuable used car (old civic ,Prelude or actually anything other than an S2000) would be a better way to go. I agree.
