Trunk carriers are good for beaters where you don't mind the paint getting all messed up. They sell universal ones anywhere. Why would you want to do this to your poor S?

Yeah, i won't recomend getting one for the s unless that is your last option. Thats why I have a Yakima roof rack on my civic. I did have a trunk bike carrier on my 95 Accord, but after repeated use, the weight of having 2 bikes and the carrier slowly pulled the trunk upward and out. Not to mention the scratches to the paint by the carrier and the bike. Since this all happened under 30 days, I returned it back to the store. If you really, really, really want one... check out Yakima for the KingJoe 2 or 3. Or go to your local store like Target or Wal-mart for other brands like Bell and such. Everytime time I see a S with a bike carrier I cringe.......................

You can get a Yakima trunk rack. It fits fine. Most trunk racks will fit ok. However, the best way to carry the bikes without damaging your car is to get a hitch. www.chaserace.com He has a custom hitch that works really well. I have it and and use it all the time with my bike.

thanks for the info. i did a search and it seems there isn't any cheap option. seems trunk carrier dents honda's cheap@ass thin sheet metal.

anywho, i was searching for options since my car doesn't get driven often in the winter and now in the summer doesn't get driven often either. my wife's car has the roofrack.
poor s2k so lonely..

^ Nicee, that's what I have too! The previous owner had the hitch installed and gave me the rack as well I plan on bringing a bike down to college with me so it's great. If you would like some pics too, let me know..
