well i got to try a trunk bike carrier.
i borrowed one and used it for my rental mazda 6. the weight of 2 bikes was bending the trunk sheet metal and the disc brake on my bike carved a chunk out of the bumper.
overall the trunk carrier is a pitiful design. i'm glad we put a roof carrier on my wife's car. it's worth the extra money.
definitley not a solution for an s2k. i think i'll just let it sit in the garage...
