No my dear friends.....i mean ROTORS....my friend has a 16" kit on his lightning, and it looks insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane.....

They have really good ones on the market today....I forgot the brand my friend has on his lighning, gotta find out.....

His car is black, with black rims, black rotors, and black calipers.....looks so mean its nuts.....Also....if you have a bright wheel (silver or something of the sort) they are even more pronounced with black rotors.

When I find them I will post it up....FYI, the rotors I speak of are Brembo quality.

Those black rotors look killer...but i dont know how they would stay black once the pads start to wear on them...

If they're black all the way through I would think it would.

True, but cast iron isn't black all the way through. In fact there isn't a metal that's completely black.

If it were made of graphite, then yes it would be black. Fiber reinforced graphite could take the heat and have plenty of strength, however graphite makes a relatively poor friction surface. It makes a pretty good lubricant though....

there are some black rotors on sale at TireRack.com called Cryo-Stop

anyone heard of them?

I'm close to replacing my pads and rotors and was curious about them.
