Default Bling or Function?

Hey Has anyone used the T1R Srut Bar? Is these bar more functional since of the x-brace or is it even more of a bling piece?

All Bling. The car has a huge 2x3 steel crossmember under the stock airbox which connects the frame rails.

Actually I am gonna go with funcional since it is a replica of the ASM one that they use on their time attack car.

I bought a $50 megan strut bar a while back cause of the bling factor.Couldn't tell the difference when i first installed it..was rubbing against my aftercooler ,so i took it off...i could tell the difference after the first drive with it off.so i say functional+bling.the car felt more sable with it on.hum...maybe one of the factors are that my car is lowered.

Try the cusco "u" bar. it bolts up where the "x" bar would, under the car. It made a differnce on my car.

Out of all the strut bars this style T1r/ASM/S2X may be the only tru functional STB (mostly due to where they connect from above to the lower part of the car). I have a Comptech and it looks real nice, but I didn't notice any difference.

You should get an X-Brace (Spoon, Nuespeed, etc.) or U-brace (Cusco or ASM) and if you want to stiffen the chassis more get Cusco floor bars, Carbing floor bar or the ASM ladder bar. These peices will do a lot more than the tower bar
