Thumbs up Blotches on intake manifold and engine.

I am talking about all the little dark marks and blotches all over the metal. The intake manifold and the engine and all. Is there any way to remove them without polishing the metal? Looking to clean up my engine bay a bit and looking to get rid of all the nasty dark dots all over the metal. I am powder coating the valve cover and it if there is no way to remove the blotches I will probably powder coat the intake manifold as well.
These spots just make the engine bay look kinda old and dirty even when it is all really clean. Any suggestions or ideas?

LOL i thought you wrote Biotches on intake manifold.

you get the mothers metal polish and work that out. It's pretty easy to use and cheap.

Do you hand polish it or have to use a dremel or something?

I know what youre talking about and Mother's Metal polish will not get it out. Ive yet to find a consumer product that can get those stains out.

Damn. That's too bad. Well thanks for saving me the money and a trip to the store to pick some polish up. Guess I will have to just get the intake manifold powder coated then. Hopefully get a nice polished metal looking powder coat done. Should look good. Takes way too long to actually polish the metal with a rotary tool. Will drive me nuts.
