You know for a long time I knew Spoon had Civic motors and such, but I have never been able to find anything on a Spoon motor for the S. Is it a built up crate motor or is it Spoon parts in a regular F20C?

Spoon AP1 crate engine: blueprinted and balanced bottom end running 12:1... Spoon builds so many variations of he engine in their track cars due to race regulations, that I'm not even sure that their head components are included. Supposedly it revs to 10+ rpms... anyone have anything else to add?
I was totally unaware of that.

Hey, if I had the extra cash, I'd buy their crate engine.... unfortunately, I was not born into an "old money" family with hundreds of millions of dollars, so I'm building my own engine.. 
Then again, if I were born into old money, I'd be driving the first 1000 WHP Bently pushing 24 in rims...
