it will grow on you... when i first saw the suzuka with blue in pictures.. it wasn't breathtaking and i was like ehhhh.. but when i saw it in person.. wow... i fell in love... and then the interior.. great on me more and more and more.. and i love it move and more.....
same thing happened to me. I went to look at the berlina black and the dealer had the blue in the show room and the sales man dropped the top and i saw the interior the first time and my jaw just dropped.

and i don't think the blue top is to much.

The blue top is not an option for me anyway, but I would choose black top over blue on the grounds that it is, in fact, too much...but not by far.

'02 Suzuka Blue/Blue interior with Black top here. I'm lovin' it!

In a perfect world I'd swap in a black interior, but I'm very happy with the present setup. I've had the car since Sept '04 and like it more than ever.

It's a matter of personal preference, though.

What do you want?

I think it would look much better with some black and then tan seats and door inserts.
tan... did you say tan?? I could deal with black.

IMO there is nothing more lame than a tan interior in a sports car. Esp. in the GPW.

IMO... IMO!

I was honestly concerned when I bought my car that the blue interior would start to bother me over time. Nothing of the sort.

BUY...IT...BUY...IT..BUY...IT!

Seriously, note that nearly all of the posters who don't like the blue, don't own one. Now, that's obviously mostly because people who don't like it don't buy it in the first place, but you are not seeing many responses from people who got it and are still ambivalent, or got it and wish they could switch.

As with several other people, I have mine partly because I really liked it in person (so much better than in pictures), and partly because the deal was really good. I was looking for a yellow and would have settled for a red, and there are days when I wish I'd held out for yellow, but the blue interior is now what I like best about the appearance.

Black...gets dirty too easily
Red...statistically gets in more accidents blah blah blah (higher insurance)
Yellow...too "loud" for my taste
White...Just didn't appeal to me on a personal level
Silver...ALWAYS my color of choice
BLue...was never an option before now, and I like it. I go to the bank when they open on Monday to secure the loan. Then dealer to drive it one last time.

One more question: I'm already approved for the loan, and the dealership is faxing the buyer's order FIRST THING Monday morning. If I get to the bank at 9:00, will I have time to complete the purchase before my 11:30 class? I will need to test drive the car because there are three blues and I didn't drive the one with fewer miles, which is obviously the one I'm buying. Bank is about five minutes from dealership, and class is about 10 from dealership. If I press the time issue with them, will they rush to help me and will I have time? I hate Sundays!
thanks guys,
Barrett.

I bought the blue specifically for the interior, expecting it wouldn't heat up as much as black in the sun, and that has been the case. I wasn't a big fan of all blue at first, but I have fallen in absolute love with the exterior and the interior has grown on me.

Pictures don't do justice.

Take a test drive and enjoy.

Also the interior is very passive compared to the pictures. (Or it could be I've just gotten used to it.)

It's not like I go into the car it screams "BLUE INTERIOR". It's very nice and everytime someone new gets in my car they mention something about 'exotic' and 'nice' ;p

I wish they made a blue/black combo like they did with red though. That would be the best interior!
