the colored sheets are the easier way to go...but if you got the skill then you could replace each LED with a blue one...

I kept up with DJ cubes thread forever, bumping it from time to time, to see if he would ever sell them. Then for whatever reason he gave up.
I recall that he made a real neat little kit up with various pre-cut pieces and different colors. He even had instructions on how to take the gauge cluster out with a minimum of fuss. Unfortunately, I don't think he sold too many at the price he was asking (a bit high but can't blame him for trying to market such a niche product). Maybe that's why he gave it up.
I happened to see one of his kits. The stuff you got was a fairly simple and small looking collection of pieces. It didn't lend the impression of "value". But of course, "value" is interpretted differently by different people.
This is by NO means bashing "DJ". It is only an observation from a consumer's point of view.

If you want to do this bad enough, you can take the cluster apart and you will clearly see what you need to do to make it whatever color you want. This might be a dangerous thing if you are all thumbs.

Wow..very talented. Its sometimes inspiring to see this generation being so creative and motivated at the same time and applying it to their car. Truly cool.

If you sell it, we will buy it. (The older generation working two jobs to pay for their toys )

Wow, I never knew that he sold ANY of them. Maybe I gave up before that happened. I don't remember his price now, but it was high, however I would have paid it. I liked it that much. I have never really considered doing it myself, but I guess I could give it a try.

i'm currently negotiating with a company that offered to convert my cluster to blue. They want to try it out on mine and will do it for free. Then offer a comercial solution for all of us. I'll keep you guys posted!

Another owner local to me bought a kit. I don't know how widespread they were initially or if only a handful were sold. I can't even remember the exact amount charged, but I do recall that after shipping, the fellow here remarked when he showed me the little envelope it came in.
Again, not slamming DJ. That's just the nature of such a specialized product.

Negotiate away!!

If something doesn't happen, I'm going to search for a used clutster and rip it to pieces...
