Body Color Distribution
Does anyone know what the split is for the different body colors. i.e. What was the percentage of the total for each of the body colors released in 2000 and what is expected in 2001? In 2000 was it 25,25,25,& 25? Here locally, I have seen more Silver than the others.
If you go to s2ki.com membership registry and type in a color only as a sort; you will get a good representation of the number of cars in each color group (with the exception of blue and yellow). Divide by 951 (the number of cars registered and the percentage is just as good as the Presidental Polls.
Example, 70 white out of 951 makes 7.3% or about correct in the number produced.

Total 940 Cars-
Blue 18 cars 1.9%
Red 181 cars 19.3%
White 70 cars 7.4%
Silver 476 cars 50.6%
Black 178 cars 18.9%
Yellow 17 cars 1.8%
Of course this includes, both model years and members cars from around the world.
From this I would assume that for North America, the rough split for model year 2000 is:
<10% White
20% Red
20% Black
>50% Silver.
