Default body kit

Hey guys, Im going to try and buy a s2000 this winter, and was just thinking about one with a body kit on it.. I go to highschool still and we have HUGE speed bumbs because everyone always speeds a ton. I am just wondering if you guys had any advice on driving it to school. Also how to you jack up a car, when the kit is low to the ground?

Thanks
-Phil

EDIT- this would be with a after market body kit**

first, i dont suggest u get a s2k in high school.
2nd, there are a lot of body kits, be more specific in what your looking for...clean, aggressive, rice?

i drive my s2k to college they have bumps, im dropped, no problems. just take them slow like ur suppose to. you jack the car up when its lowered by either using a low profile jack or try my method of driving onto wooden blocks. then use a regular jack

Im a junoir right now, and before anyone asks I pay for my insurance, gass, car ect. Im not looking to spend over 14, on a 2003model. My insurance would be aprox. 170 a month, full coverage.
I do have the good student discount, and also have a good drive discount.

Why not in high school? ive had mine since freshman year and have had no problems at all...

anyway, basically any bodykit that looks good for the s2000 is going to be very expensive to put together, and most dont look all that great IMO. i would start with quality coilovers though because nothing is worse than aftermarket bodywork with a 4 finger gap. I would get a clean front bumper (im just a fan of the AP2 w/ lip) downforce sides, and j's diffuser. thats complete personal preferance though. ive always thought the lines on the car are already great and just need minor improvements to make an aggressive and clean looking car. Good luck with your S!

besides, if you got a car like the s2000, you don't want to be an attention whore like the salahis.

The S is totally not the car for the high school years of life...fun yes, get the attention of the ladies, yes....practical for the upcoming events in your life, not really.

I had a CRX in high school (yep I'm old), couldn't get half my stuff I needed to college in the following years...the car became more of a burden and outweighed the benefits of fun and ladies. I bought an Accord in college.

Good luck I hope it works for you...

Oh yeah body kits...you should pass. Why spend the money? The car is an engineering masterpiece stock. There are better mods for the money that in the long run you'd enjoy more than a weighty body kit. Just my opinion.
