You're right about my S2K being quite capable of handling it's own. It's a really really great car... I am bored with driving in a straight line. (as bored as a person can be driving an S...) I haven't taken it through any mountain passes here in Colorado yet, but I imagine that would be a beautiful drive... Maybe go to Bishops Castle....

I was thinking about doing the mods first... shipping details on the kit I purchased were supposed to be worked out between us and now I've found out that he won't ship it at all... kinda leaves me at a stand... so I've decided that was a sign from above and I'm not supposed to worry about the body kit... I should be putting more under the hood... silly me!!!!

I'll definitely go OEM on the spoiler... I found one 'excess' for $450 painted and shipped... good price?

Are you going to be able to get your money back on the kit you already ordered?

That's the link to the spoiler that I found for $450... painted... I saved the link at work under my 'favorites' but don't remember what website it is right now....

It's the wing spoiler as apposed to the trunk spoiler...

OH...well, it's pretty safe to assume you will get the best price from that site.

The thing that attracts me... or should I say intrigues me to the point of tears... to the S2000 is the fact that honda has given us what (at least I) have been looking for in a car, for the right price. its raw and functional. not much on the car is there for looks. Its all about driving and rewarding competent drivers.

With that said, I would only change what doesn't suit you in terms of what your trying to extract out of the car... if you wanna show boat... then big rims and a fancy wing are all for you... if you wanna be able to pull away from your friends on the streets (no no to street racing) then dump money under the hood and to your weak diff (i would recommend against launching the S2k).

I, personally, am a self declared suspension so when i do take delivery of my car first thing i'm doing is coilovers then moving to stiffen the already stiff chassis. Then addressing driver/passenger saftey (roll cage, seats, harnesses, brakes) then maybe look into mods to deliver more midrange power.

Good luck with the car... remember to respect it like a loaded handgun. Everyone knows they are dangerous... its only when you let your guard down that you can get in trouble.

quick note... lowering a car would generally make the car handle better... however lowering it too much and throwing off the suspension geometry could make it handle worse... Without going into the physics of it... look into how a bump steer kit works and why they may be needed for your application.

That's the same one I got. I love it. I had the other spoiler on my 01' S2K, but I like this one a lot more. It looks more aggressive and makes the S2K stand out without looking ricey.

I purchased mine from Hardtopguy as well. Good price and service.

Any other angles of that spoiler? I really like the smaller one. It seems like that one is just a bit much, and *seems* to mess with the lines of the car.

Right now, I don't have any other angles showing my wing. But it looks a lot better than the previous wing.

I've gotten more compliments on this one than the other one ever did. It doesn't mess with the lines or look awkward or ricey. Trust me, there are some people with ricey wings on here, and this is not anything like that. And it does not obstruct your view out the rear window.
