yeah with the a/c it has a noticeable power loss. Shocking how much of a loss. Which is why I almost never use it. Top down solves that problem. Not to mention better gas milage

I was redlining it on a STEEP uphill once and the engine still kept dying! I couldn't figure it out why. LOL

My car does this as well. I always thought something was wrong but the guys over at s2000.com convinced me that I was not driving the car right. I guess going from a tiny turbo'd vw gti to an s2000 with no torque freaked me out a bit at first. moral of the story: keep the revs up!

Learn your power curve, evaluate traffic conditions, drive appropriately. The F22 is no Cummins but in VTEC, it's a f^cking madman.

lol the A/C in this thing is good and cold but you pay a price for that. My car bogs with the A/C on too I usually keep it off as much as I can. Good luck and enjoy your S!

hot weather+A/C on+heat soak in the engine bay=ECU pulls timing to prevent detonation and as a result, less power. Pretty normal as my Si civic in 100 degree weather hardly moves with the family on board.
