My car bogs like crazy to when the AC is it. It gets extremely worse when it is 100+ degrees outside. Normal probably due to the low inertia of the engine, short stroke, short intake runners. The engine was obviously engineered for top end power.

 

I find the AP2 to fare a bit better with A/C and hotter temperature, but still.. it can bog easier than many other cars.

You gotta keep the revs up and you should be fine. But yeah, I've never been in a car where AC kills so much power.

 

I hardly drive with the A/C on anyways, but it was just a question that needed to be asked. LoL

 

My 03 randomly bogs bad in stop & go traffic. It's not my driving...it's not the lack of tq...the car almost shuts off completely, bucks, dash lights dim etc, as if the ignition just cuts off. I clutch in and lift the throttle..lights brighen up and it's fine. I can't replicate it...it's 100% random. One day it'll do it 2-3 times within a few blocks...some times it won't do it for a month. I've come to just deal with it. F'in voodoo lol.
