Mine's mostly stock. It has to be if you race SCCA auto-x stock class. My dealer stuck me with the Ti shift knob and I added Rick's taller windscreen.

I recently parked directly next to a Z4 and it was interesting to compare every line of each car. I like the S more. It is like a smoother 'melted' version of the Z4. I like our longer front hood -- I wish our windshield had more rake (less stone damage) but I can see it contributes to the long look.

Ditto on both add ons.

just wish I could find a shift knob to replaced the p.o.s. stocker on the 03's.

I'm pretty sure I will leave mine stock save for the suspension (x brace and a cream of the crop suspension kit like the ones from Bilstein). I'm more into the turning aspect of driving, the car is fast enough for me as it is.

Yeah, I have modded my previous cars and as I mature, I realized I actually enjoy a car much better when it's in it's stock form.

A little enchancement here and there is ok. Like changing out the stock vinyl shift boot to a leather one, or adding some chassis reinforcement with x brace and tower bar is good. But full blown motor , suspension and wheels upgrades just isn't my thing anymore.

Agreed. The first thing I changed was the '00 shift knob, and I felt the carpeted console was crap amound other things. IMO the car handles better with a larger front bar.. and I like the turn-in better with the xbrace. My car has an audible shift signal, a more usable glove box, and a change to the locks, among other changes that make it better for me.

Fixed them so both doors open on the first push of the button.. I was regularly frustrated finding the passenger door locked because I didn't get the timing right to get them both open.

mine looks stock on the outside (i only mods the item you can't see e.g. DC header, head unit, speakers, etc) with OEM front and rear spoilers.

i love the stock looks and don't plan on doing any changes for now

Mine is bone stock. I have to agree with most of the S2k owners that stock form of the S2k is fine as is.

From a member that knows the systems far better than me:

Actually this should be pretty easy, but you have to dig around under the dash and find the keyless entry module. Locate the YEL/GRN wire (driver's door lock) and the PNK/BLU wire (passenger lock). I believe if you cut the passenger wire, insulate the module side of it, and connect the harness side of it to the driver's lock wire (T-tap), both locks will be wired in parallel to the drivers lock circuit. Then they will both lock and unlock together, and of course on the first button press.

Make sure you get the YEL/GRN, as there is a GRN/YEL wire too, and you don't want that. Also, if you have factory security, the drivers lock wire might be YEL/WHT. Either way it's between a PNK/BLK and a WHT wire.
