Default Bone stock, anybody?

Just up for discussion. Doesn't anyone else out there besides myself simply love the S the way it is? No offense to anybody, I beg you, but I feel that the car is just too bad-ass as it comes from the factory. I'm talking without even factory accessories. I've been modifying cars since before I could drive them and they all needed it. This car, in my opinion, doesn't. I hate to equate it to seeing the cars that look like they crashed into Pep Boys, but sometimes more and more accessories make a vehicle look cluttered, fat and sluggish. Once again, no offense intended. Some of the S's I've seen since discovering this site have looked great, just not my style. Anyways, I guess the point I'm trying to make here is am I alone in my little world or are there other wierdos out there just like me?

You're serious? I would guess that most cars are stock.

Ruined, this has been discussed in heated debates over and over on our site. There are many purists (Boners) all the way to extreme moders (Ricers) and everything in between. I think the general consensus is enjoy the car the way you, the owner like it and let everyone else enjoy the car the way they like it. We all have alot of passion for the car, but in the end it is only a car. I personally am somewhere in between. My car is pretty close to bone. If I had more available $ I would do a little more alteration, but nothing extreme, as is my preference.

All I have on mine is the OEM front and real spoilers and the side strakes. Never plan on anything else but keeping it stock.

yeah the s2k is a true beauty that looks flawless from the factory. plus i believe the factory addons are great looking too. the OEM front lip looks better than any other aftermarket front lip i've ever seen for the s2k.

the only thing i would change would to make the s2k a little lower from the factory, maybe .5-1" lower would be perfect. the only problem is people will begin to bang their frontends into curbs when they park more often.

All I have is a few Muz accessories, X-Brace and Ricks leather owner's manual case (I got the last one made.)

Stock, except for (Leather console/boot, Secret compartment dividers, 7/8th windscreen, mats, S badges, metal deadpedal (2000 did not have one) which I don't really consider to be 'mods'. Had the ACT clutch put in when they did my clutch TSB though.

Only mod. was the rear speakers. It really is more like "completing" the car, as the factory head unit does have those 2 untapped rear channels...
Weird in my opinion that Honda neglected to just put the 2 speakers in the rear, it does make the stereo sound a lot better. Other than that, I think the car is beautiful and perfect as it is.
But like Raj said, each person has different needs and tastes, so it is an interminable debate, best solved by respecting each others' opinions.
Cheers,
Daniel

Stock, but I think the OEM factory lips and rear spoiler are a must. I added them not too long ago.
