Anybody else have trouble with the two little tabs on their boot cover not holding the boot in place? My boot cover seems to come lose and flap around in the back -- the little tabs seem to be completely useless. I'm worried this may cause damage to the paint on the rear deck.

lots of folks have trouble with the tonneau cover.
much discussion on this topic to date.

i know i'm hoping for an aftermarket cover that doesn't suck and takes up a fraction of the space of the stock one.

Are you using a roll or towel in the window crease which would contribute to this?

Not yet -- I'm confused which to buy or even if both are required (some people have suggested this in other posts). As Schatten suggests, it doesn't seem very well designed, but I would also prefer to keep the dust out of the well and think the car looks cleaner when the boot is on.

Perhaps this is yet another opportunity for someone on this board to come up with an ingenious mod accessory?

See my reply in the "Top Adjustment" thread here: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=9102 Anyone who has a problem with the cover may need the top adjusted.

I had this problem for a while and this is what I did to fix it and it hasn't happend since. Very simple actually, just put the cover on like you normally would and then get in the car and push on the cover down and toward the back of the car. This seems to lock the tabs in more securly.
