Default Boot Straps "Button"

Does anyone know that part number or name of the little "button" located on the passenger side and the drivers side where the strap for the boot that covers the softtop when down. Somehow mine came off and I am unable to locate it. I need to oder a new one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

Dominic

I bet that fastener fell inside or behind the side trim cover. That happened to me when I was adjusting the lower stops of the convertible top. That side trim cover was one of the many pieces that had to come out in order to adjust the stop. In order to remove that piece you have to first remove the chrome scuff plate that reads "S2000", the piece that we always step on as we enter and exit the car.

Wait, now that I think about it again. It's probably a nut behind the fastener that fell inside. In that case you would need a new fastener but you would still need to remove that trim piece to install the fastener.
