well, here i am - a new s owner.

i was in the market for a z and pulled into an H dealer for kicks and there in front of me was an 02 GPW with the full red interior. then the salesman tells me it has 3600 miles on it. i left with it that day.

yep, it's stock. completely. and i like it that way. maybe a couple things here and there, but nothing that i'm going to have to fix down the road - i'm out of that game for the time being.

oh yeah, i've noticed the "elitist" sentiment around here and hope i am not spoiling your day. i'm 26 and used to drive a civic.
i wouldn't worry too much though. i think that the s is going to end up like the xke.

I turned my lease in 2 weeks ago. I went to the dealership with an 02 with 37K miles on it, and left the dealership with an 02 with 690 miles on. Car was titled but never registered.

 

^^^At least it is broken in so you could use VTEC! Nice find.
