bought a VAFC Hardness is this normal

Default bought a VAFC Hardness is this normal

I bougnt a used VAFC hardness nad found that one of the cales is loose. Spoke with the seller and told me that is normal.

It's probably a Frog harness, the number on it is just a part number. I'd check with them, but I don't think that's normal. You can check to see which one it is, here's a diagram: http://www.gotspork.com/documents/Pin.doc

Well then that lead should be connected. I'd say it's broken.

That is bad news so I bought a broken hardness and the seller still owns me $150.....


Can be welded easily?

You could repair it with some solder but then you risk an easier breakage down the road and throwing a CEL.

I'd try to contact Frog and see if they can repair/replace it for you. If they can't, there a few board sponsors that cary the harness and they may be able to help you.
