boxter z3 s2000...
just for note looked it up in road and track reg boxter 0-60 6.0 bmw z3 2.8 6.2 HONDA S2000 5.8 quarter miles in same order 14.6 14.8 and 14.4 yay for us we win!

Nor should we forget that the BMW 2.8 is history, replaced with the more powerfull 3.0 and WAY more powerfull M 3.2, and that the Boxster S also has way more power than the tested 2.5 (possibly tested a 2.7)? Boxster engine, with more power likely for 2002.
All this competition and one-upmanship keeps things interesting!
...and yes, I release the S2000 is significantly less costly than a new-engined M-Roadster or Boxster S!

Beamer's new M-Coupe Roadster is 315-ponies!
In Boca Raton, FL almost every old male drives a Boxster. They are at every traffic light. There like flies but they never want to run. I've only had two attempt to play and they both backed off after getting a nice view of the rear of my car. A favorite among rich kids are M-3's. I smoke 'em everytime by 1-3 cars light to light! I don't even waste my time unless they look like they need a good spanking while attempting to show off for their girlfriend. What a burn!

I think when people are reviewing cars they do not base there conclusion on the top speed and 0 - 60 times.
In this months EVO magazine, the boxsterS beats the
mercedes CLK32 AMG (over 300 bhp, under 5sec 0 -60), TVR (over 300BHP, under 5sec 0 -60), BMW z3 M (over 300BHP, under 5sec 0 -60).
At the end of the day owners of all the above models would disagree with the result.
But lets face it, I love my s2k and if I had the extra cash, BOXSTER S here I come.
