Here is a link to what is happening. I posted this on the Bay area forums first. I am really pissed. Basically I ordered a 6 pt. roll cage from Stan (Bozz Performance) back in August 2004. I paid an extra $650 to have it aired in. So all together I paid $1491. $841 for the cage and $650 shipping. After a month went by I wondered what happend to the cage. I called them but their number and website is down because of the move that they did to another location. So I had no ways of contacting them for over 4 months. I sent so many emails to STAN and Kenric .Kenric is the Owner. They kept on telling me its comming. So after 8 months go by, I see their site is up. So I call the number wanting to talk to the owner Kenric. I get put on hold for 10 min. almost everytime I called them. They seem to be dodging my calls on purpose. Everytime I call these guys long distance Im getting charged. Finally I get ahold of Kenric and told him I want my money back. He agrees and says hes going to refund my money. I told him to just credit my card back with the machine they have at their store. He says no because they will get charged a fee. I was like ok.... Well send me a check. He then says ok. Weeks and weeks go by and no check. I call him and he tells me hes going to send it. I wait and get nothing. I call him back and he said he sent it out. I ask for the tracking number but he has none. I dont think he even sent it out. So I call back and he tells me hes going to cancell the check and send me a new one. SO I say fine. I finally get a check in the mail on April 14 2005 for $1491. I deposit it in my bank. Today I get the check back saying it Bounced. Somehow I knew it. ANy suggestions on what to do now? Well here is the link.

damn, that sucks! don't know what to tell you...did you ever hear of them before ordering from them, or get any references to see how legit they were?

I heard about Bozz from J's AP1. He ordered the same cage and it got to him in less then a month from these guys. He had no problems with them. Thats why I ordered from them. I never knew a store could be this shady.

 

 

Time to involve lawyers. You should sue for way more than the value of the cage. Think about what your time and effort is worth and ask for that value.

IDIOTS! Only thing I can think of is they or the bank cancelled the wrong check causing it to bounce?

 

haha... you could have a full cage custom installed by one of the best builders in the country for that price

 

Ask you CC company to look into this matter. They are very helpful!
