I just picked up a 2001 s2k in perfect condition. the origional owner didn't have a very long ride to work, (19,000) mi in 2 years on back roads. I now drive it round trip around 50 miles a day (highway). I have been thinking about a bra to protect the front end, but all of the pictures that I have seen really seem to take away from the look of the car. I looked in my rear view mirror a few days ago and saw a vw bug with a bra that had the silver vw logo on the front of the black braw. I told my wife that if I could find one like that for an s2k that I would jump at it. Has any one seen such a bra or was that just a volkswagon thing?

I never saw what you did on the VW, but 3M makes a clear bra for our S. You might want to do yourself a favor and do a search here for more info. It is expensive and a pro should apply it.

 

I am getting a clear bra, have a pro do it, i got 3m as well. Search the site, and look for Xpel, Invinca-Shield, Stongard, ClearShield. I found installers through the vendor sites.

1st time it was stock
2nd time J's front bumper and J's hood
3rd time C-West front and Mastergrade hood

and my other cars with this installed by same installer is my Lexus GS400 and Maxima
BMW's were both too far gone with rok chips to install this on them
