"brace" yourself
i wish we had some closer events. fontana is damn far from here.
my goal was never to make a faster car. everyone is in this eternal pissing contest to beat each other. i want to make the most fun car that is the most enjoyable to drive. nothing else matters.
thanks for chiming in about grip though, what u said makes sense to me.

When you begin to add parts to your car which restrict its ability to roll, you will reduce traction because the car is no longer able to transfer as much weight to that particular side. The plus side to this is that you gain response.
This is mainly an issue of the swaybar -- the rest of the mods described here have little or no effect on anything but your wallet.
why is there so much doubt about the effectiveness of chasis stiffening? im a cheap bastard and want bang for ur buck mods. plus i listed other reviews from different people. to each his own, but i didn't write this for my health. tryin to share good experience.

This is a longstanding controversy on this board (between the people who admit it does not have a laptime effect but say it helps anyway and the people who say if you don't have laptimes you don't have anything). It's not really necessary to rehash it.

The effect is correct but the explanation is wrong. In fact, more weight is transfered with the stiffer car, but that's why you have less overall traction.
More weight transfer will press the tires into the ground which would increase friction. How does this reduce grip?

Check out a book on the subject. I think "Going Faster" had a nice description of this, IIRC.
