Default Bracket for rear-bumper parking permit

I remember a while back, someone in hawaii (I think), a black car with hard top (again, I think) made an L-shaped bracket that somehow mounted under the rear bumper. On this bracket he had a parking permit of some kind. My new job requires me to park in a lot that is limited to two hours unless you have a permit, but the permit need to be placed on the rear bumper (not gonna happen) or the rear window (again, not gonna happen). I searched, but unfortunately, any search with the word "bracket" in it turns up a bunch of results with people lamenting the quality of the portions of their Comptech superchargers ..

Anyone know what I'm talking about (the bracket, not the supercharger nonsense)?

i think the bracket your talkin about is just a piece of sheet metal bent in a "L" shape. i got one bolted to the black part of the rear bumper for my safety check. some people make there own while some people buy them from some speed shops.

I just had an idea for your bracket. Find a bolt that will screw into the tow hook hole in the rear bumper and put a piece of metal on the outside of it with your permit so you can just screw it in when you need it.

Just an idea.
