My car for the past 2 days been making this nasty sqeechin/ hissy noise coming from my left wheel while driving , i figured its the brakes, but from reading the previous threads, people have this problem round 50k miles, and i got MY 05, and 17,500 mi. Could this be hppening already?, and also can somebody re direct me to the steps for brake pad replacement.

 

It could be a rock stuck in the brakes, or dirty brakes... does it make the noise when you drive backwards and forwards? what about left and right turns?

 

my front pads were worn at 22k so dont be surprised

 

I clean mine every so often usually around 2 oli change intervals. Im still on my original pads and I have close to 75k on it...
