Default brake pad change

I will be changing my front pads to a more aggressive pad for tack use. If my rears are ready to be changed do they need to be the same type of pad as the fronts?

I don't know that they "need" to be the same, but it is a good idea unless you are intentionaly trying to achieve some specific goal, like shifting the front/rear brake bias.

What pads are you considering? I like Carbotech Panther Plus pads for track days.

My goal is to keep the front rear bias the same. Carbotech pads were recommended to me this weekend at the track. How much are they?

About $200 or so for the four corners.
