Default Brake Squeaks

My new Colbalt blue pads are squeaking a lot and loud. I broke them in according to instuctions (heat cycling) but they still are way too loud. I have brand new Muguen Rotors and steal brake lines. Anyone have any suggestions? It's been four days of agonizing noise.

I assume you are talking about Hawk blues? They are race/track pads, they are supposed to sound like that. You are not using them for the street are you?

I believe any aftermarket race/street pads will make that sound. Even Hawk HP Plus pads will make that annoying sqeeking noise.

You are not going to use them hard enough on the street to get them up to the operating temps that you would see on the track. Cold track pads = very quickly worn rotors. They will probably dust like crazy too. Track pads on the street =

I run Panther+ pads which are a light duty HPDE pad, they can be used on the street since they work at pretty low temps and the dust is not corrosive like some other track pads. They do squeal like a pig though.
