Just installed Hawk Blue 9012 race pads from the old Hawk HPS pads. I am now hearing a faint but conistent noise. It is the noise of the pads and rotors barely touching. Is this normal with these pads or did I screw something up ?

I've installed non-race pads many times on the car without this noise.

 

it;s probably the friction difference, it's very common for aggressive pad to make noise even it's new and bedded in properly.
