Default Brand of our HID?

Hi

My friend likes my S2K's HID. He wants to retrofit one in his car. Does anyone know what brand and what model # is the HID in our car?

Thanx in advance.

Does he just want bulbs and ballast? For the most part, unless he's got projectors to start, most retro fits don't work too well. Exception being(asides from projectors) 9006 reflectors.

Either way, Philips makes the most of the this stuff, and you can get them just about anywhere on the net, do a search. BTW tell your friend to not expect it to come out like the s2k, it won't.

Whatever retro-brand you do get make sure the bulb is made for your specific headlight housing. The part number will have a P for projector and an R for reflector. If you get the wrong one, the light will be the wrong color and shine in the wrong direction (up).

Have there been any tests proving that the S2000 HIDs are the brightest on the road today?

Certainly seems that way. Just a curious thought.
