Eventually, as far as installation, it take a few minutes. Simple simple simple. Just have to be carful how you pull that pin, thats it.

so i went to the dealership to order the TCT...n just for the hell of it, i asked them 2 check it out. so they guy puts his head next to the valve cover n says its coming from there n theyll have to let the car cool down n take it off whichll take several hours...sooo i said ok thank u n reversed my car out.

now i guess ill change it 2moro. i drove it on the interstate n it drives ok, so it SHOULD be the TCT rite? because if it were anything else it shouldnt have drove ok rite? is there a break-in period for the TCT?

YES its the TCT. Being that the TCT is what keeps the entire engine in sync and you are driving it around, your asking for it. You better hope that thing does not jump time or you'll be installing another motor. FIX it and then drive it. Its the TCT. No break in time needed. Just proper operating temperature.

I would have stopped driving it a long time ago, just for assurance purposes. When you replace the TCT be sure you dont pull the pin untill its in the motor and bolted down. pull it sooner and it will fall apart same as your old one. Its hard to get back together too.

Sits on the block flush before you pull the pin, snug is fine on the bolts, maybe just get them torqued after a few days or something, just dont overtighten them or you'll be rethreding the block, not fun. Cant be over 20ft lbs I wouldnt think but I dont know exact torque requirement.
