I can see the pics.....

Its just a normal bolt. I don't know the diameter, but the head is 10mm right? Did you have the parts guy bring up an exploded view of that area?

You could just remove the other bolt from the evap box and take it to the hardware store. Match the threads, diameter and length, get a washer for it and there ya go.

The bar you're talking about is the "STIFFENER, RR. SUSPENTSION." There are two kinds of bolts that go through it - one is a "BOLT, FLANGE (10X16)" and the other is a "BOLT, FLANGE (14X107)" I don't know which one you need, however.

Go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and navigate to the parts page for the 2004 S2000. The drawing you're looking for is the " CROSS BEAM" component/system.

the booth look like it but at the same time the beam on those pics arnt correct. if you add the bar that moparacker thinks it is to the bar elistan thiinks it is then that is the piece i am talking about..

its a straight beam thin piece of metal with a rectangular piece reaching towards the driver side. hard to explain. wouldnt a honda dealer near me have all these parts in stock?

Ok, I found a picture of the rear tie bar. It was in one of spacecowboy's Cusco threads, I hope he doesn't mind helping out again.

Is this the bar you're talking about? This is what Elistan and I believe you are describing. The bolts Elistan posted are the bar to frame bolts, the larger 14mm bolts. The ones I posted are the canister to bar bolts, the 10mm ones. Are we in the right area??

And no, your Honda dealer will most likely not have this bolt in stock. Again, I recommend going to a hardware store, spending 50 cents for a bolt and washer instead of going to the dealership and paying 5 times that and having to wait for it to arrive.
