Default brutal summer heat?

LIve in central Florida...the car is awesome now...
just have to worry though with this black rag top
with no liner....how hot does this car get?

Use as DD and have no interest in putting top down.

I think it's gonna get warm!

Shows just how awesome(or how stupid I am) that I bought
this car...at 6'5" I'm starting to think maybe I'm too
big for it!

This engine..tranny...chassis..are sooooo spectacular!
Why couldn't Honda find other applications for it??

Ya know..just a bit larger car

If I ever came into a large$$ amount of cash..I'd be transplanting
this F22C into other engine bays!!

You have no interest in putting the top down? I'd get a hardtop and tint and keep a solar reflector for the front windshield.

brutal summer heat? Yes, please! I'm so tired of winter!

I hardly ever put my top down in mid summer either because it's just too hot and it does nothing to stop my enjoyment of the car.

Just put the top down, turn on the AC and enjoy -- or get a hardtop as suggested.

MOVE!

Hey, any of your riding gear that new-fangled polypropylene stuff that wicks moisture away (Sorry, I last raced in 1981, don't follow all the trends), maybe you could wear it while driving?

My last FL visit was a few years back in April, almost could not stand to walk across a parking lot mid-day.

I was living in Central FL last summer with mine. It can be rough. I would stil go top down to though usually. But was pretty intense. With the AC on it is fine. Never got ice cold for me but not bad at all.

I think a hardtop and tint will help you heat wise. Not sure if you know this, but a few companies offer lowered seat rails for the stock S2K seat that will help you fit a little better. The one I saw in person is the Backyard Special one. It was built super strong and looked as strong as the factory, if not more.

Seat rail info:

Just sell it - it sounds like it's to much trouble for you...

i wonder how buzz944 deals with the heat in KSA(Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), where temperatures can reach well over 100F.

AC fan is powerful enough to have the top down to make it tolerable in the warmest of summer days in the US, but works best with the top up.

summers are top down for me even on the most radiant of days, no AC, just take a couple of bottles of water and tuck them under the passenger seat. You'll sweat alot...lol...oh, wear a cap, sunglasses, and white t-shirts.

no interest in putting the top down?! BLASPHEMY!

jk jk

you should get a hard top, but since that's a pretty pricey option, tint your windows, and I am not sure which year you have, but if u have a 00-01, i don't think any where in central Florida tints the plastic "window". and maybe because i am no where close to 6'5 but, it doesn't get unbearably hot, nothing that the AC cant solve.

Good luck. Check out the Florida section and ask your question there. fls2k.com takes you straight there.
