Bulbs for the High Beam

I went with Silverstar... good color match... $50 from pepboys auto parts $25 ea

the other night I did see ONE set at walmart $29.99 2pk almost bought it as a spare

Piaa has a set for $85.00... its not worth that much

it seem if you get a light ....... blue bulb... that will match good
not dark blue... looks bad

my last car a I bought several until I found the right ones... silverstar for the money, and it last.... well my set was 2 years

arnt those the fake HID bulbs. like the look alike for ppl who dont have HID

PIAA's are junk. They're std. Halogen's but they've upped the wattage so you're harnesses are at risk of being melted. Plus the gas inside will only last (if you're lucky) 10 months.

PIAA does make bulbs that run at the regular wattage (50-55W) which should be sfae for use without worry of meltdowns, but I do agree that they are WAY overpriced.

Thanks, trust me the first place I checked for the owners manual was in the secret compartment. Ya I was just looking for something a littler brighter and a closer match to the HID's the blue tint and yellow dont mix well together. =P
