Default Bumper fit in the passenger seat?

Does anybody know if a bumper would fit in the passenger seat? I would imagine the top would have to be down if it does. Any info is much appreciated!

can't see why it wouldn't. put the top down and the seat all the way back and tuck as much of it as you can under the dash and drive slow.

The only problem with that is I am asking for an 8 hour drive. My friend is in the city where my bumper needs to be picked up from. He is coming out here tomorrow and said that he will bring it out here as long as it fits. He has a rollbar ion his car, so the seat doesnt go as far back as a normal OEM would. I guess he can just go put it in the car and find out when he gets it if it fits or not.

Pretty sure you can MAKE it fit..... I would recommend strapping it down in a couple of places to make sure it doesn't fall out, shift, or better yet hit the driver.

Good luck on that one........8 hours???

If it is a urethane OEM bumper without a lip attached to it, then you can make it fit with a little bending. I hope you're not too concerned about the clear coat cracking

Anything else is an absolute no if you plan on putting the top up - I've tried putting the 2004 OEM bumper with lip attached, but that only works with the top down. Fiberglass bumper - not a chance.

The problem with a lip being attached or an aftermarket bumper is it is too wide to fit in the car between the console and the door.

It is an aftermarket bumper, and I believe it is made of fiberglass. The bumper needs to be repainted the color of my car, so scratches and chips are not what i am afraid of. My friend is going to try to fit it in the seat, but if it cant...he said he will throw the bumper on his car and put his OEM without a lip in his passenger seat. That sound like a plan?
