Hey I just got my new rear bumper and it had a tough time in transit to say the least. The box's edge split and now the cornor is all chipped. I have heard mixed thing on repainting the factory bumpers so I'm wondering if it's possible? I heard that the material is hard to strip or something and a near match is close to impossible. Any experiences?

Well, I just had a deep, deep scratch fixed in my back bumper...the body shop did a wonderful job, It's a little pricey, though. I think as long as you take it to a reputable body shop in your area you should be fine.

Any chance of having the shipping company pay for the damage??

 

Well it's UPS so that will take forever. We're pretty close where did you take yours and how much did it run you if you don't mind me asking?
