Default bumpers

Ok guys I have an AP1 and I know that the front bumper will fit perfect, but is it the same with the back bumper? Because I want to upgrade both but I need them to fit like it is stock, so if anyone can chime in on this that would be great. Thanks

I'm assuming you are referring to AP2 upgraded bumpers. They should fit right on without a prob.

If you are referring to putting AP2 bumpers onto an AP1, they are do-able and have been done by many, but they are NOT a direct bolt on. So no, they will not "fit right on without any problem". Once having done the modifications, they will fit just like if they were from the factory.

An AP2 front bumper requires you to get the AP2 plastic undertray OR make extensions to connect the AP1 undertray with the bottom rear lip of the new bumper. You will also need to use an angle grinder to grind off about an inch from the top corners of the metal bumper beam. Not doing so will result in dimples coming through your new bumper.

The AP2 rear bumper sits back a bit from the attachment point of your AP1 bumper and homemade "U" brackets must be made:

They obviously didn't post up everything they did. And if he didn't do it all, that undertray is just hanging there. There have been stories of this undertray getting caught in the wind and being pulled down and under the engine. Quite a mess and a huge repair. And the dimples don't show up for a bout 2 weeks.
