Thumbs up Will AP2 bumper fit an AP1?

I have a '01 S2000 that the front bumper was cracked from a deer, so I want to replace it.

Will the new style that's on the '05 model fit directly?

1. The styrofoam core must be trimmed or not used.
2. The metal bumper upper corners need to be ground down or they'll make dimples in the bumper cap.
3. You'll need to get lower bumper extenders or get the AP2 undertray.

Here's a thread I did in my local forum outlining a few of the steps with pictures. There are also more pictures on the second page of that thread:

PM replied to. But here's the pics for convenience. I got everything you see in this picture except for the tow hook cover (in the next picture) and the extension clips (in the 3rd picture).

ps. You don't have to get the front lip if you don't want it.

pps. Oh, you'll need something to cover the "H" emblem holes. I used one of Rick's "S" badges.

Hardtopguy sold them to me along with the rest of the parts. The new undertray makes for a cleaner conversion but since nobody looks under there, I didn't care. I opted for the few bucks those extensions cost me. All the pricing can be obtained from HTguy but the total cost is outlined in that link I put up.
