My favorite argument to those who call the S2000 a "torqueless wonder" is that the Dodge Ram with the Cummins turbo diesel puts out 555 lb-ft of torque at 1400 RPM , but I'll race one any day for money, even launching at 3000 rpm.

 

That's ok. I had a guy who owns an MR2 Spyder tell me yesterday that the S2000 handles like shit, and that I should have spent the $23000 an S2000 costs on a much better handling car like the MR-S. He then procceded to tell me that the MR-S has 180hp, and will own an S2000 in straight line....

I was laughing sooo hard I had to sit down. He was 1) wrong about the price of the S2000, 2)the handling of the car, 3) the HP of his own car!

I half expected him to try to show me a FWD burnout.

 

Arguing on the internet is quite possibly the most pointless, time consuming, life draining thing one could do these days.

The debate is futile.

-One person or party expresses their points concerning the subject.

-The opposition provides a rebuttal, expressing their points...

Result: One or more parties cupping their ears and screaming, "LALALALLALALA."

Sure, you can respond with a "but...b-but, but, but..." B-but, but, that'll only get you a "B-but, but but, bu-but but but" in return.

Solution: Give up.

PS: the MR2 spyder is RWD.

 

just curious, whats the avarage 0-60 time any of you guys got, without launching.

 

Without launching I get about a 6.0-6.3 maybe.
