It's too hard on this car. I only do them at the drag strip, which is rare for me. But it is fun popping the clutch and stabbing the brake and letting the smoke roll off the tires for 4 or 5 seconds. My car does a slow rotate to the left. Lots of fun, but just not good for this car.

Did it once in a parking lot after lots of peer pressure. Jaws dropped. Two nice thick black stripes and some good smoke.
Everyone else was totally impressed and almost speechless.
I almost shit! I couldn't believe how fast this car launches from 6000rpm! I have driven much faster cars. I just didn't think this one was as fast as it is.
Never again though. I love my car too much.

Looked at the polls, nice to see a large number of people who don't do this to their cars. Me personally, I've wanted to a couple of times but I don't want to destroy my baby for what amounts to just some childish wheelspin that I did to impress others back when I was 16

The only time I did a burnout in my car is when a Cooper S chirped his tires on me.
Oh, there's also that time when I was sliding sideways at 70mph towards the concrete outside wall. I put it in neutral, redlined it, then dropped the clutch, spinning the tires, just barely keeping it off the wall...
So I guess that's 2 times.
