I think the most important thing is finding the right car at the right price. It can be tough finding a well maintained, un-modded, adult owned s2k at a fair price.

You’ll have fun regardless what year you get.

06+ also comes with stability control and drive by wire.

In all reality the performance is extremely similar between them all, and if you are thinking supercharger, then you are probably going to do a standalone anyway making the 06+ ecu point moot. Well flash pro and Standalone are equal, but the money you save on an older one would more than make up for the price difference, and if you are going to swap out the suspension anyway the suspension differences are moot. I just don't see a point in using any other discriminator than the best condition/mileage per dollar ratio. Unless you have a reason for wanting one of the two engines over the other. If you were going to leave it NA then I'd say 06+ has an advantage because flash pro is much less involved when it comes to install, but you are already planning on a supercharger which pretty much eliminates that argument.
