Default Buying an S2000 this week...

Hi Guys,

Obviously I am new so hi to everyone!

I am going to be buying an s2000 this week looking at 2006 GT cars and would you be able to give me any advice to give me a sort of check list when looking at them?

Many thanks,

Craig

If you search around on this site you'll find tons of info on "what to look for" when checking out a used S2000.

I would pay close attention to:
Oil level and condition
Soft top for tears
Brake fluid condition and color
Body panels for paint over spray or misalignment (indications of a repair)

Listen to the engine noise for any indication of possible bent valves, and soft top elastic straps to make sure the top folds back properly otherwise it would result in a tear.

also check all the body panels. each one is supposed to have a VIN number on it, its another indication that paint or bodywork has been done.

That picture is awesome. I love how it appears to be at what seems to be/was a family friendly event with all the disney logos in the background.
