is it this car?
2009 GPW

This car was traded in last week. It was a one owner lease. Buyer traded it in on an Accord Coupe.

The car is scheduled to have the lower part of the bumper refinished (typical scrape stuff) have one or two of it's wheels refinished, interior/exterior detail and in one case the prospective buyer had the option of replacing (2) OEM RE050's or getting (4) Sumitomo HTRZIII's at the Price of $29,200 Factory Certified.

I think some posts here may have scared that person off.

He was not my customer so I don't know what really went on.

There are 2 2008+ S2000's in our area on autotrader, 1 (ours) on craigslist. The 2 2008's are CR models, 1 without air ($24K), and one with 24K miles for $27K. $29,200 is not unreasonable for a 2009 in GPW.

FYI.... I just bought a 2007 GPW, red and black interior with only 2560 miles on it from a dealer for 24500 plus tax and tittle.

That's about right. ~$2500/year retail difference year over year.

I guess everyone has different views on this but my 07 with 2560 miles on it would be worth the 24500 I paid and would be a much and a I mean MUCH better deal than the 09 with three times then miles on it for 29K.
What I'm trying to say is that the mileage is more important to me then the model year! Besides, in my case the Red and Black interior in the 06-07 cars looks better.
But I do agree that you should buy what you want and that the price will be forgotten in a few weeks.

Everyone's years/miles preferences differ. I would rather have a 2007 with 25K miles than a 2002 with 10K miles. You can still be rewarded/deducted for mileage, but the year matters more in market values. Mainly this is because of financial lenders - not because of consumer preference.

29k seems pretty expensive but it IS the last year s2000 with the ever popular gpw. i mean i would rather get a 07 w/ 2500 miles for 24k but the 09 does have its upgrades over the 07 that some people might prefer. if it was 08 vs 09 i wouldn't care though.

if its what you want it doesn't matter. 2 months from now you won't remember what you paid anyways

Haha!

Keith has my phone number. Call or PM me if you think you have a deal we can both live with.

Saturday I'm probably driving to see an '08 CPO with 3K miles for $24.7K. I would go tomorrow, but you know...yoga girl won't wait another night.

I'll post here if I buy it.
