Default Bye bye S2K, hello M3

My car was sold today . On a lighter note I did order my 2003 M3 (6sp) today. My new baby is gonna be white w/ red leather. She will include premium package, adjustable seat width/lumbar, xenon lights, navigation system, Harman-Kardon system, and aluminum trim. Build date is set for the 3rd week of October so she should be here early December. I just wanted to say that it was great being apart of this S2000 community, you guys are really 1st class people. I hope the BMW forums are as informative as this one.

The white with red seats rock. M3 would be the only logical update that I would go for, but no $$$ so the S will do.

how come i've never seen an E46 M3 w/OUT the xenon lights?
is it b/c those that can afford an m3 can also afford the extra what 800 for the lights... or does bmw not produce an m3 w/out xenon lights and they just charge your for it even though it's standard?

The xenons are not standard, they are a 700 option.

I sold all my upgrades with the car. I know I could have made a little more money if i parted out but the sc is a pain to remove.

Congrats on the nice choice. I would love a S2K for autocross, but i dont fit since i'm 6'2. The M3 is just an older brother of a S2000 with more space and lux.

Did u ever run ur S2K on the 1/4 mile before u sold it?

Great ride you are getting. I just sold a M Roadster to get the S2000. You will enjoy the BMW family. Here is a great website www.bimmerforums.com. They are the best BMW forum out there. No flamming, great info. Enjoy the new ride.
