Cabin Noise Reduction
FWIW the hardtop on my wife's Mercedes roadster dramatically quiets things down. You can even notice better bass response (cavity effect) since convertibles are tough to get good bass response within. Also the heat and AC work more effectively.

Hey VM, I got Mingster's aeroscreen instead of the stock, and it has been the best thing for the entire drive experience. I can talk to my wife at a civilized level instead of yelling all the time. I say get an wind screen of any sort, but the taller the screen itself, the better the results. Good luck!
I recommend headrest inserts (These are the ones I had made for our S2000s). They definitely stop the wind from blowing through the stock mesh inserts. I also recommend the 7/8 RH windscreen (shown is a full size soon to be swapped out with a 7/8) I suppose undercoating or dynamatting would reduce noise, but it sure would increase the weight of the car.
Hi Rick,
Yes, but which noise, the wind noise, the road noise, the engine noise, or the "Honey, I'm sorry I backed into ..."
Good luck on getting yours back better than new. Hide your car.
