im looking to get a CAI and exhaust system in my new s2000. what CAI would you say is the best performance wise but isnt incredibly loud? how hard is an exhaust and CAI to install for someone whos never really fixed a car beyond oil changing?

also for the exhuast system, i was looking at a comptech and invidia. any more suggestions on which one would be good?

 

the invidia exhaust maybe too loud for you,so comptech or fujitsubo might be better
and a not very loud intake is comptech's intake
im running an AEM intake with a fujitsubo exhaust with a test pipe
the car is quite with no real drown , but once the car is nicely warmed its loud only at full throttle, i think it sounds real nice, without having to wake the naighbors when i come home late.

A test pipe replaces the catylitic converter. It's illegal to run on the street, but many people do.

 

$5000 fine if caught running a "test pipe" in NJ! Just an fyi.
