Best caliper paint I've seen is brush-on from SeriousAuto. Kit includes a spray can of cleaner, then a catalyst to mix with the paint just before application. Color is great, and it sets up rock-hard. Certainly no need to remove calipers since the paint is brush-on. Biggest hassle is jacking the car and removing wheels!!

Can you brush that paint on without removing the wheels? Would there be any way to do that?

I don't know how the matching will be, but here's a link for yellow spray-on caliper paint: http://www.nextcollection.com/html/ORD-Aut...ne-415-none.cfm

I painted my calipers with the red from MG Racing. It's an excellent paint color, and has very good staying power. You'll need to use small (artist) paint brushes, and work relatively quickly (it becomes unusable about an hour after mixing, if you mix it all at once).

I just finished painting mine. I left the calipers on the wheel and they came out great. I will post a new message as soon as I get my camera out and take some pictures.

OK this is just my opinion...but ive had previous cars that i pant them, and no doubt they improve the looks around the wheel area. But nothing impresses me more than slotted rotors or cross-drilled. Look around you and you'll see more civics with theirs painted. I think our cars are higher class than just paint. Just imagine pulling up a light...you're in the middle....and two stooks are on both sides, one has the brakes painted...while the other got cross-drilled rotors with ahem..."Brembo" on the calipers...hehe...ok that's about 2 grand for the front set right? im dreaming...but anyways, that's just my opinion on that.....everybody's different.

(and this is coming from a guy who had a wing on his previous car that looks like a basketball rack and exhaust pipes about 5 inches in diameter ) i was a hardcore ricer...lol

I used Krylon BBQ Hi-Temp and it looks great.

IMHO, Rustoleum's BBQ black is too dull... almost a charcoal color.
