Default Caliper paint and its effect on brake heat

if i paint my calipers, i will dremel them to a smooth finish then put maybe 4 or 5 coats of caliper paint, then clearcoat. if i do this, will the paint make the caliper retain more heat and therefore keep the rotor hotter, decreasing braking performance?

thanks

I would assume the difference is negligible.

No problems I'd say... the veins on the rotors themselves cool everything down nicely. Should have no worries, at least I never saw any concerns when I did mine and even auto-x'd the car once...

Caliper paint has a ceramic bace and is made to dissipate heat. Hockey has done many Caliper paint jobs he can tell you best
